For the past twelve years I have been lucky enough to call the Blue Mountains home.
For most of that time, as the mother to two small people, my adventures have been limited to half-day walks or even shorter strolls. But when the opportunity arises, I love to explore wilder, more remote locations. Walking is my way of connecting with the world, and connecting with myself.
I’m constantly inspired by the bush around me. Sometimes it’s the majesty of the deep, dissected valleys and sheer sandstone cliffs, and sometimes it’s the abundance of spring wildflowers or the smell of the bush after rain.
I hope you might find some inspiration here too.
What a fantastic and inspirational blog Jo. And gorgeous photos!
Thanks so much Betty-Rose. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Hello, WBW,
Just wondering if you took the Photograph of Govett’s Leap at the top of your Site?
If so, i was wondering if I could have your permission to use a section of it to do a small 8×6 oil painting for possible sale in a local Gallery or online with your Credit and Contact details shown wherever the painting is displayed.
Thank you for your time.
Cheers!

Hi Tony,
I’m so sorry I missed your message way back in October. I’ve had a break from blogging, but hoping to get back into it now. Yes it’s my photo, and you’re very welcome to use it for a painting if you still wish to! Regards, Jo
