These are some of my favourite bushwalking blogs and websites. All provide an amazing repository of information on walking, canyoning and exploring in the Blue Mountains (and elsewhere).

A few other resources I find useful:

Six Maps – a wonderful mapping tool produced by the NSW Government which combines both aerial imagery and current topographic maps

Open Street Map – an open source mapping project that shows many tracks which are not marked on the 1:25000 topographic maps

Bushwalk Australia – a great forum for learning about all things bushwalking and sharing track notes, stories and photos

National Parks Alerts – for information about fires, floods and track closures in NSW parks

Blue Mountains City Council track closures – for updates on Council-managed tracks in the Blue Mountains

And finally…

Jo’s Journey – this is my old blog, from before I had children!
